The Ghosts of Undercliff
presented by Eric Nelsen
“There was a time when the Palisades riverfront bustled with diverse communities of rivermen and their families. Through images and narative, the program sheds light on these forgotten people and places – and how these settlements got romanticized over time – even as life if these forgotten river communities went on, oftentimes hidden in plain sight after the Interstate Park was crteated. The presentation also highlights the use of the river by sailboats and steamships, as well as the shad fishing industry into the 1980’s.”

HRBYCA Regular Board of Directors (BOD) meetings are scheduled on the last Tuesdays of February, April, June, August, October, and December. All Members of HRBYCA are welcomed to attend and take part in any discussions. Beginning at 7pm, meetings are held at various locations. You may contact any Board member for updated BOD meeting information.
