Croton Yacht Club Annual College Scholarship Fundraiser

The Croton Yacht Club will hold its annual college scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, May 18 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM at their clubhouse located at 6 Elliott Way in Croton-on-Hudson.
The event will include an all you can eat pasta night, with various pasta dishes, salad, coffee and dessert. A silent auction will be conducted during the evening as well as a 50-50 fund raising raffle. A donation of $20 for adults, $10 for teens is requested; children 12 and under are free. All net proceeds will go to the Croton Yacht Club College Scholarship Fund.
The mission of the scholarship grant is to promote studies in the marine, maritime, environmental science and/or environmental engineering fields; to cultivate future local environmental leaders and advocates; to develop future stewards of local marine resources and to enhance, promote and protect local river related recreational resources.
A one-time grant(s) totaling two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) will be awarded to a 2019 Croton-Harmon High School graduate(s) who is pursuing undergraduate college accredited courses in the aforementioned fields of study. The Yacht Club has awarded $15,000 in grants since the scholarship’s inception in 2011.

HRBYCA meetings, of the member clubs, are held on the last Tuesdays of January, March, May, July, September and November. All members of HRBYCA member clubs are welcome to attend and take part in any discussions. Beginning at 8pm, the meeting locations vary among our member clubs, so check this website or our Facebook page for updated meeting announcements.
HRBYCA Regular Board of Directors (BOD) meetings are scheduled on the last Tuesdays of February, April, June, August, October, and December. All Members of HRBYCA are welcomed to attend and take part in any discussions. Beginning at 7pm, meetings are held at various locations. You may contact any Board member for updated BOD meeting information.
