General Membership Meeting

THE HUDSON RIVER BOAT & YACHT CLUB ASSOCIATION
CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW – rescheduled for Tuesday, February 19
The Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club Association invites you to attend our next meeting to be held at the Peekskill Yacht Club, 1 Travis Point, Peekskill, NY 10566 January 29, 2019. The meet and greet starts at 6:30 pm followed by a great dinner prepared by the PYC membership. In case of bad weather Rocky Colandra will decide if it is necessary to postpone our meeting.

The Hudson Highlands and Bannerman’s Island Arsenal
This presentation will present information on three of the historical sites in the Hudson Highlands. The old Cornish Estate ( also known as Northgate ), the Northgate ( Breckneck and Storm King) and Bannerman’s Island Arsenal. This will be illustrated with historic photos of the sites and their place on the Hudson.
Thom Johnson is a lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley, co-founder of the Bannerman Castle Trust, co author of the book on Bannerman’s who has studied ruins in the valley for over 50 years.

* Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan: Clubs **must** submit water sample results to the NYSDEC by February 15, 2019. If your club has not yet prepared a SWPPP you may receive a hefty fine from the DEC. Discussion to be held.

HRBYCA meetings, of the member clubs, are held on the last Tuesdays of January, March, May, July, September and November. All members of HRBYCA member clubs are welcome to attend and take part in any discussions. Beginning at 8pm, the meeting locations vary among our member clubs, so check this website or our Facebook page for updated meeting announcements.
HRBYCA Regular Board of Directors (BOD) meetings are scheduled on the last Tuesdays of February, April, June, August, October, and December. All Members of HRBYCA are welcomed to attend and take part in any discussions. Beginning at 7pm, meetings are held at various locations. You may contact any Board member for updated BOD meeting information.
