DESCRIPTION:Cornwall Yacht Club\n175 Shore Drive\nCornwall\, NY 12520 \nDear Members\,\nCommodore Tom Gleason and the members of the Cornwall Yacht Club invite you to join our general meeting on July 25th. \nA welcome reception at 6:30pm precedes the great dinner prepared by the Cornwall Y.C. galley crew. Slips are available for members arriving by boat. Please contact the club directly for additional information. \n**Guest speaker:**\nThom Johnson\, historian for the Peekskill Yacht Club and Board member with Friends of Fahnestock Hudson Highlands State Park will present:\n**”Ruins in the Hudson Highlands State Park.”**\nThe talk will cover the two main sites that make up most of the park\,\nBannerman’s Island Arsenal and Northgate known as the old Cornish estate. Learn some of the history about both sites and their connection to the Storm King Railroad station. \n**Meeting Agenda:**\n* Pledge of allegiance followed by a short history of Cornwall Yacht Club.\n* Roll call of clubs.\n* Treasurer’s report.\n* Secretary’s report.\n* Gov’t Affairs. Updates on Indian Point and proposed anchorages.\n* Discussion on Sept. Raft-up at Croton Point Park.\n* Open business.\n* New business.\n* Club events. Share your club’s upcoming events with the membership.\n* Good will.\n* Motion to adjourn. \nA special note of thanks to Shattemuc Yacht Club for hosting our recent BBQ rendezvous.
