SUMMARY:HRBYCA Association Meeting at Minisceongo Yacht Club
DESCRIPTION:Commodore Rich Brienza\, and the members of the Minisceongo Yacht Club\, invite all HRBYCA club members to our next meeting on Tuesday July 31st.  Meet and greet starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner prepared by the MYC team that includes our own board member Peter Alfieri. The outside pavilion seating fills up fast so come early. Don’t miss this event. \nGuest Speaker:\nOur friend\, Fran Dunwell\, has accepted our invitation to be our featured speaker. Since 1974 Fran has spent her career in conservation of the Hudson River’s scenic\, historic\, and environmental heritage.  Currently the coordinator of the Hudson River Estuary at the NYSDEC she oversees the implementation of an ambitious program; conserving fish and wildlife\, landscape\, and water resources from Troy to NY Harbor.  Author of The Hudson: America’s River Fran will discuss efforts to develop new public access areas for boaters and recent proposals by CSX railroad to fence-in their property limiting public access to the river. \nNew Website:\nPlease take a minute and visit our new website; www.hrbyca.org Add this new site to your club’s list of web links.  Send any upcoming club events\, photos\, or comments. Future HRBYCA meetings will also be listed.  A special thanks to Keira Burtch from MYC for her help in developing this new website. \nMeeting Agenda: \n1) Roll call of clubs.\n2) Treasurer’s report.\n3) New Website\n4) Gov’t affairs reported by Frank Bergman\, President Emeritus.\n5) Discussion to decide where to have a HRBYCA sponsored summer BBQ in August.\n6) Old business.\n7) New business.\n8) Club events.  Let us know of your club’s summer events.\n9) Good will \nThe officers and board of directors thank all of you for your continued support. \n  \n
