DESCRIPTION:THE HUDSON RIVER BOAT & YACHT CLUB ASSOCIATION  \nCANCELLED DUE TO SNOW – rescheduled for Tuesday\, February 19 \nThe Hudson River Boat & Yacht Club Association invites you to attend our next meeting to be held at the Peekskill Yacht Club\, 1 Travis Point\, Peekskill\, NY 10566 January 29\, 2019. The meet and greet starts at 6:30 pm followed by a great dinner prepared by the PYC membership. In case of bad weather Rocky Colandra will decide if it is necessary to postpone our meeting. \nFeatured Speaker\nThom Johnson\, from PYC\, will present a history of\nThe Hudson Highlands and Bannerman’s Island Arsenal\nThis presentation will present information on three of the historical sites in the Hudson Highlands. The old Cornish Estate ( also known as Northgate )\, the Northgate ( Breckneck and Storm King) and Bannerman’s Island Arsenal. This will be illustrated with historic photos of the sites and their place on the Hudson. \nThom Johnson is a lifetime resident of the Hudson Valley\, co-founder of the Bannerman Castle Trust\, co author of the book on Bannerman’s who has studied ruins in the valley for over 50 years. \nMeeting Agenda; \n* Introduction of the new 2019 HRBYCA officers and new board members\n* Treasurer’s report\n* Journal update: Ad forms can be found on our web site\, www.hrbyca.org Reserve your space now!\n* Commodore’s Brunch: March 24\, 2019 at the Thayer Hotel\n* Government Affairs: Grant money available. DESCRIPTION:Commodore Rich Brienza\, and the members of the Minisceongo Yacht Club\, invite all HRBYCA club members to our next meeting on Tuesday July 31st.  Meet and greet starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner prepared by the MYC team that includes our own board member Peter Alfieri.
