Swan and the members of the Ossining Boat & Canoe Club invite the membership of the HRBYCA to attend the next meeting on Tuesday Nov. 26th.  A meet and greet starts at 6:30pm followed by a delicious dinner prepared by the OBCC team members.  It will be a full night with a special presentation and HRBYCA 2020 elections. \nOur guest speaker\, Mr. Bob Elliott\, has served previously and is currently on many boards; Historic River Towns\, Clearwater\, Hudson River Foundation\, and the DEC Hudson River Estuary Committee. \nBob’s presentation is titled “SS Columbia: Reconnecting Historic Infrastructure.”  It presents to the audience again or for the first time the 116-year-old National Historic Landmark steamer SS Columbia that is currently docked in Buffalo. Bob will outline the multi-year restoration plan that will have her steaming again along the Hudson. All of this is part of a much larger effort to spur heritage tourism and economic development in waterfront cities and towns \nElections will be held for the board of directors. DESCRIPTION:Dear HRBYCA members\, \nOur next meeting will be held on Tuesday\, September 24\, from 6:30 – 9:30 at the Pirate Canoe Club located at 140 Rivercrest Road\, Poughkeepsie\, 12601 – see page 25 of the HRBYCA Member Clubs directory. \nA special memorial service will be held for Frank Bergman who generously served not only as president of the HRBYCA and commodore of the PCC\, but notably served in many organizations for the preservation and wise use of our Hudson River – see page 5 of the HRBYCA Member Clubs directory. \nOur guest speaker shall be Skip Doyle\, PCC representative to the HRBYCA presenting a slide show on his exploration of the entire Hudson River – by foot and by paddle – from its source atop Mount Marcy\, to its beginning at Lake Henderson\, to the first buoy at Fort Edwards\, to the beginning of the tidal estuary at Troy dam\, to its terminus in New York City harbor. \nI ask that you make a special effort to attend this evening dedicated to the accomplishments of Frank Bergman which we continue to benefit from. The old Cornish Estate ( also known as Northgate )\, the Northgate ( Breckneck and Storm King) and Bannerman’s Island Arsenal. SUMMARY:HRBYCA Association Meeting at Minisceongo Yacht Club
DESCRIPTION:Commodore Rich Brienza\, and the members of the Minisceongo Yacht Club\, invite all HRBYCA club members to our next meeting on Tuesday July 31st.  Meet and greet starts at 6:00 pm followed by dinner prepared by the MYC team that includes our own board member Peter Alfieri.
